Order picking system for beverage bottles
Staedler Automation AG has designed, developed and commissioned a picking system for beverage bottles for a customer.
Beverage bottles are fed in by type via four feed lanes. These enter the machine in a single lane. A gripper system picks up individual bottles from the various products and places them in a carton provided.
Different bottle formats can be handled; all that is required is to change the gripper. Plug-in connections ensure fast changeover times. The different grippers are also recognized by the control system and a recipe change is carried out automatically.
Depending on the deposit pattern, which can be freely defined, an output of up to 240 cartons/h can be achieved.
