Automatic Palletizing System

For Corvaglia, Staedler Automation AG had the opportunity to design and implement a fully automatic palletizing system that operates 24/7, seven days a week.

The closures, packed in cardboard boxes, are palletized based on product specifications by a robot and then transferred in stacks. The fully loaded pallet is stretched in the pallet wrapper and subsequently labeled at the wrapper’s exit. The presence of 10 pickup points for the finished pallets ensures a significant level of autonomy. As Staedler, we were tasked with planning, designing, and implementing a system in a minimal space. For the project implementation, a 6-axis Fanuc robot was utilized on an additional linear axis.
